gon' stay strong and keep it tight

I don't understand. When I think I have everything figured out it all comes crashing down with thoughts and emotions that are way out of my hand. When you wait for something you want for so long and when it finally comes and you take it all in. At that point, you then realize that this is something you can also lose, wherever and whenever. You just never know.
