You go about your day matching together outfits that resemble a touch of rhianna, a dash of hipster, and a nicole richie headband. You thumb through websites, magazines, and blog sites seeing what you can create to make you look and feel beautiful. Thats the thing, you already are.

You may not get any dates, or a limited amount of male attention. Thats society, not all men - but a good amount are plagued with what is sexy rather than what can be sexy. Not everyone can look like beyonce, keri, or have an asian exotic look. We are given the hand we are dealt, but that doesn’t mean we got the short end of the stick. You shouldn’t want to look like somebody else, Yes that girl you’re on following might look crazy gorgeous, but inside you can drop the gorgeous and she just might be crazy. You don’t know how people are inside. Some people look great, but feel horrible. Others couldn’t buy a personality if they were the richest person in the world.

I can tell you until i’m blue in the face that there will be a man in your life that will love you, for you. But you won’t believe me. You are impatient, you want instant results, instant love, and instant romance. I can understand that, but it’s just not how it works. How can you expect to be loved and adored when you don’t even love or adore yourself? As hard as it is to believe men do flock to personalities, they love being around someone postive. Even if the man of your dreams doesn’t realize he should be with you, maybe you should be thankful. He didn’t deserve you to begin with if he didn’t realize how amazing you are.

I wish I had all the answers for you, I wish I understood men to the point where I could guide you into a life that never involved tears or heartache, but I don’t. And I’ve experienced those with you. But what breaks my heart is seeing you depressed, angry, self damaging yourself to look like women in magazines and forgetting who you are along the way. Nobody should define you, and no man should make you question your purpose for being here. You are beautiful, even if you don’t believe it - I will keep telling you. You are beautiful.

Let certain men chase video models, magazine cover girls, or even blogsite women. Let them dish out feeble attempts of pick up lines, and wish under every star to find a girl like scarjo. Let them see that the girl with the most amazing personality, who is there everytime they are needed, who never judges, understands, and will love every inch of them may not have the super model looks or the hour glass figure, is beautiful in her own way. And if he can’t see that, or anybody else can’t see that - young girl, it’s not your fault. Its theirs, you know why? Because you ARE beautiful. Don’t you dare think otherwise.
